Job Description

Sika Australia Pty Ltd is a well-established industry leader in the manufacturing of construction chemicals servicing Construction, Industry, & Mining divisions across Australia.

We are a Global Organization with subsidiaries in over 103 countries around the world, we manufacture in over 400 factories with over 33,000 employees & an expanding team across Australia.

  • Drive budgeted turnover and sales contributions.
  • Communicate national product ranging, pricing, and promotional initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with Sika Australia's sales, pricing, and expense policies.
  • Identify new business opportunities in defined industry markets (Transportation, Aftermarket, Manufacturing, etc.).
  • Provide technical and sales services to existing customers.
  • Maintain and expand the customer base through product specifications and demonstrations.
  • Report market information and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
  • Prepare project proposals with the Sales Manager.
  • Participate in internal and external training as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with Sika’s Quality Policy (ISO 9002) and relevant laws.
  • Provide after-sales service and technical advice based on current data sheets.
  • Report verbal agreements and significant changes to relevant team members.

Qualifications

  • University degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field (preferred), OR has 3+ years of experience in the Industry Market sector.
  • Exceptional communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfortable liaising with all levels of decision-makers.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate initiative and autonomy.
  • Team player with a strong aptitude for marketing and sales.
