Technical Sales Manager: Waterproofing & Construction Systems (Bangkok, Thailand)

A multi-billion dollar Asian construction and building materials leader is launching a strategic expansion and seeks a high-impact Technical Sales Manager to seize market share in the lucrative Waterproofing segment. This is a role for an experienced, technically-grounded leader ready to build and drive a competitive business unit.

The Challenge: Market Leadership & Team Development

  • P&L Ownership: Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve aggressive sales targets and market share growth for waterproofing solutions across Thailand.
  • Key Account & Channel Mastery: Manage and cultivate deep, enduring relationships with the specialized Waterproofing Applicator community, main contractors, specifiers (architects/consultants), and building owners.
  • Sales & Technical Excellence: Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing technical sales team. Provide advanced technical support and consultation for complex, large-scale projects.
  • Strategic Growth: Lead major project acquisitions by leveraging established distribution networks and competitive market positioning.

Your Profile: The Technical Sales Veteran

  • Experience: 10-15 years of progressive experience in senior sales or business development roles.
  • Product Focus (Non-Negotiable): Direct, verifiable experience selling Waterproofing Systems, Adhesives, or Construction Chemicals (ideally from global market leaders like Sika, BASF, Jotun, etc.).
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Business Administration (or related field is preferred).
  • Network Strength: Proven, strong relationships with the Waterproofing Applicator and contractor base in the Thai market.
  • Language: Native Thai and professional working proficiency in English.
