As a Technical Sales Manager – Refrigeration, you will drive profitable growth of our Refrigerants portfolio by combining strong technical expertise with a proactive, opportunity-driven sales mindset. You will act as the technical authority and point of reference for Refrigerants within your assigned geography, supporting regional sales teams to win, close, and grow business by clearly demonstrating how our products create value for customers.
You will play a key role in strengthening the sales pipeline, increasing product penetration, and supporting strategic customers through close collaboration with Key Account Managers, Product Management, Customer Services, and other internal stakeholders.

Who you will report to:
You will report to the Head of Technical Sales – Refrigeration and work closely with the regional Sales & Customer Services teams, Product Management, Inventory, Procurement, Pricing, and Marketing.
What you will be doing:
Drive profitable sales growth of the Refrigerants portfolio across existing and new customers in collaboration with regional Sales & CS teams
Act as the highest technical authority for Refrigerants, supporting customer discussions, advanced technical queries, and deal closing
Co-own the sales targets for the assigned geographic area together with regional sales teams
Support Key Account Managers in budgeting, opportunity qualification, and improving sales conversion rates
Define and execute Sales Activity Plans for the Refrigerants portfolio, ensuring activities are owned, implemented, and recorded
Actively hunt for new business opportunities, including contracted business, newbuilds, and drydock projects
Maintain strong focus and follow-up on newbuild and drydock opportunities within the sales pipeline
Promote and drive product campaigns and promotions, including sales target setting and sales forecasting to support optimal stock availability
Collaborate closely with Product, Planning, and Marketing teams to develop sales materials and tailored customer presentations
Present and promote products and services at customer meetings, conferences, and exhibitions to position the company as a technical and commercial market leader
Proactively gather and share market and technical intelligence with internal stakeholders
Fully comply with Sales Governance, policies, and processes
What you bring to this role:
Strong technical competence and practical understanding of Refrigerants products
Ability to translate technical knowledge into clear customer value propositions
Confidence in customer-facing sales activities, presentations, and negotiations
A proactive, structured, and independent working style with strong ownership mentality
Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a multinational environment
A “can-do”, forward-leaning attitude and passion for sales growth
What we are looking for:
Formal education in engineering, technical studies, or relevant products/services
4–5 years of technical experience in the maritime industry, preferably with onboard vessel experience
Minimum 2 years of direct sales experience
Excellent written and spoken English
Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and manage priorities
Self-driven, outgoing, and initiative-oriented personality
Proven team player who is open to new ideas and ways of working
Ambitious and motivated to grow both the business and your own career
