About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager - Modernisation to lead our Victorian Modernisation Sales team, based in Port Melbourne.

Reporting to the Regional General Manager, you will drive sales growth, increase market share and lead a team focused on securing upgrade, refurbishment and replacement opportunities across Victoria.

With ongoing investment across commercial, residential and infrastructure sectors, including major transport, health, education and urban renewal projects, this is an exciting opportunity to influence Schindler's growth while helping customers improve the safety, performance and reliability of their building assets.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Develop and execute the Victorian Modernisation sales strategy.
  • Lead, coach and develop a team of Technical Sales Consultants.
  • Identify and secure upgrade, refurbishment and replacement opportunities.
  • Build strong relationships with building owners, facility managers, strata managers and consultants.
  • Support solution development, customer presentations and commercial positioning.
  • Manage pipeline performance, forecasting and business reporting.
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and senior leaders to deliver customer-focused solutions.

About You

You're an ambitious and commercially astute sales leader who thrives in a high-performance environment.

You know how to build trusted relationships, inspire teams and convert opportunities into long-term business success. Most importantly, you're motivated by the opportunity to lead, influence and make a genuine impact in a growing market.

What You'll Bring

  • Sales leadership experience within the lift industry, building services, infrastructure, engineering, facilities management or technical solutions sectors.
  • Success selling complex technical solutions in a B2B environment.
  • Strong commercial acumen and experience managing pipelines and forecasts.
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.
  • Experience leading, coaching and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence.

Highly Regarded

  • Lift and escalator modernisation sales experience.
  • Experience presenting technical solutions to customers.
  • Knowledge of competitor products and modernisation solutions.
  • Experience using SHAPE or similar quotation platforms.
  • Knowledge of Australian Standards and NCC requirements.
  • Established networks across Victoria's property, facilities management and building services sectors.
