
As Technical Sales Manager (m/f/d) - Beauty & Personal Care DACH, you will drive profitable growth by identifying market trends and customer needs, delivering technical expertise, and introducing innovative solutions. You will work closely with R&D teams and regional Account Managers to support high-potential customers and ensure successful product implementation
Business Development
Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities
Initiate and support technically driven projects with key decision-makers
Join Account Managers on customer visits to provide technical expertise
Collaborate with suppliers’ technical teams to stay up to date
Customer Engagement
Support product introductions and ensure technical success on-site
Deliver customer training on products, applications, and regulations
Partner with Innovation Labs to develop and qualify opportunities
Provide application-specific technical advice and product recommendations
Manage sample processes and document in CRM
Create new opportunities requiring deep technical support
Transition commercialized projects to Account Managers
Market & Industry Insight
Analyze market potential and document findings in CRM
Represent the company at trade shows, webinars, and exhibitions
Build relationships with research institutions and consortia
Compliance & Administration
Ensure all activities align with safety, quality, and environmental standards
Maintain accurate documentation and CRM records
Skills
Strong communicator with excellent presentation abilities
Fluent in German; strong command of English (spoken and written)
Technically curious and confident in customer-facing roles
Structured, detail-oriented, and solution-driven
Comfortable working independently and in cross-functional teams
2–5 years of experience in the cosmetics or personal care industry, with a strong background in formulation development
Degree in Natural Sciences (e.g., Chemistry, Biology) or a related technical field
Mobility
Willing to travel across the DACH region for customer visits and industry events
