Job Description

We are seeking a results-oriented Technical Sales Manager with a strong background in food processing, refrigeration, or cold chain systems to lead sales initiatives and grow business opportunities within the food manufacturing sector. This role is responsible for promoting industrial-grade equipment and customized solutions tailored to clients involved in food production, cold storage, and distribution.

The ideal candidate has solid experience in technical sales, understands the operational needs of food manufacturing environments, and can translate those into product or systems-based solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify new business opportunities and manage key customer accounts in the food manufacturing and cold chain sectors.
• Promote technical solutions such as refrigeration systems, food processing equipment, automation components, and integrated cold storage technologies.
• Conduct site visits and technical consultations to assess client requirements and propose appropriate product configurations.
• Prepare technical proposals, cost estimates, and tender submissions in collaboration with engineering and product teams.
• Build and maintain long-term relationships with purchasing managers, plant engineers, and decision-makers.
• Monitor market trends, customer feedback, and competitor offerings to support strategic pricing and positioning.
• Provide pre- and post-sales support including project coordination and issue resolution.
• Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance updates to management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Food Technology, or Industrial Engineering preferred.
• At least 5-7 years of experience in technical sales or solution selling within food manufacturing, industrial refrigeration, or cold storage systems.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and environmental controls related to food-grade facilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and client servicing skills.
• Strong project coordination and documentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel and engage with plant-level operations and technical teams.
