Job Description

The role is responsible for engaging with customer nutritionists, identifying feed additive opportunities, coordinating product development and trials with suppliers and supporting the Premix & Feed Key Account Sales team in resolving customer concerns and technical challenges.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Sales Target Achievement - Achieve monthly and annual targets by volume and revenue. Visit customers to maintain good relationships and understand their needs. Identify business development opportunities to increase market share and profitability.
  • Customer Relationship Management - Establish mechanisms to gather input and feedback from customers and customer nutritionists for understanding their requirements. Engage with stakeholders at all levels on technical and commercial matters. Resolve customer complaints and challenges within specified timelines, supporting the Premix/Feed Key Account Sales team to address and resolve any customer issues effectively to maintain a positive company image
  • Market Study and Analysis - Conduct market studies to identify emerging trends, competitor information, and new business opportunities. Analyze territory and provide reports on customer needs, problems, interests, and potential for new business.
  • Quotations and Price Offers - Arrange price offers and quotations in coordination with direct managers and the finance department. Engage with suppliers to formulate and develop required farm/lab trials for new product introduction. Send reports of customer needs, problems, interests and competitive activities to management.
  • Exhibitions and Promotional Activities - Participate in exhibitions, industry sales forum events, and promotional activities as required by management. Engage with customer nutritionists to discuss new feed additive opportunities for IFFCO. Support the company in branding services and products.
  • Credit Policy Adherence - Ensure adherence to the credit policy. Follow up with dealers/customers regularly to ensure timely collection of dues in alignment with credit limits and collection target plans.
  • People Management - Allocate work, nominate for training, conduct performance reviews, and manage leave and overtime for efficiency.
  • Techno-Commercial Expertise - Apply technical expertise in Poultry/Dairy Nutrition and Formulation to support commercial activities. Engage with suppliers and internal teams to develop and validate new products through farm/lab trials. Translate customer needs into functional products working closely with IFFCO internal teams to ensure successful product development and delivery.

Work experience requirement

  • 12+ years experience in Feed Sales, Premix Sales, Nutritionist in feed additive company, and Distribution management & farm feed / premix sales management

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in veterinary medicine
