The Opportunity

EnerMech is seeking an experienced Technical Sales Engineer to join our Lifting Solutions business in Abu Dhabi.

This is an exciting opportunity for a commercially driven professional with a strong technical background and proven experience within the UAE energy sector. You will play a key role in identifying and securing new business opportunities, developing strategic customer relationships and supporting the continued growth of our Lifting Solutions business across the Middle East.

Working closely with operations, engineering and commercial teams, you will promote EnerMech's integrated service offering, develop key accounts and ensure customers receive innovative, value-driven solutions that meet their operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and grow new business opportunities across the UAE and wider Middle East energy market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Prepare and coordinate technical and commercial proposals, quotations and tenders.
  • Promote EnerMech's Lifting Solutions capabilities while identifying opportunities to cross-sell our wider service portfolio.
  • Support the negotiation and implementation of framework agreements and long-term service contracts.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging business opportunities.
  • Work collaboratively with operational teams to ensure successful project handovers and exceptional customer delivery.
  • Represent EnerMech at client meetings, networking events and industry forums.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in technical sales, business development or operational roles within cranes, lifting or related engineering services.
  • Experience supporting clients across offshore, onshore, industrial, renewables or wider energy sectors.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience preparing tenders, quotations and customer proposals.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • The ability to identify opportunities, influence stakeholders and develop long-term customer partnerships.
  • A technical qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or a related Engineering discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Fluency in English is essential, with Arabic language skills considered advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel throughout the UAE and wider Middle East region.
