Technical Sales Engineer- Automotive

As Arrow Global Components (AGC), a part of Arrow Electronics, we are a leader in distribution and value-added services related to electronic components. We resell, customize, and distribute electronic components to our clients all over the world. Our business is based on a trusted, long-lasting net of relationships with industry leaders, both on the supplier and customer side.

We are looking for an individual who is passionate about electronics, innovative and enjoys being involved in technology projects that will make life not only different, but better.

We aim to hire a Technical Sales Engineer They will be joining a team reporting directly to the Sales Manager.

Technical Sales Engineer- Automotive

What will you be doing at Arrow?

• Building, maintaining, and developing strategic relationships with customers, suppliers and Arrow partners.
• Focusing on technical needs of complex, emerging, or underpenetrated prospects.
• Creating new opportunities and product selection within the accounts and creating demand activity using technical resources as needed.
• Utilizing distribution and supplier knowledge to grow market share and sales.
• Understanding of customers’ needs and how to translate them to Arrow requirements or opportunities.
• Attending supplier training events to keep up to date on product line.
• Working within an assigned customer base to grow and develop the business, expanding market share and maximizing Arrow’s share of customer spend.

What are we looking for?

• 5+ years of related experience in the Electronics industry. Automotive industry preferred
• Degree in electronics studies.
• Ability to sell, influence and negotiate.
• Ability to build relationships at all levels of customers and suppliers.
• Fluency in Italian and English language.
• Electronic component knowledge (Semi and IP&E products).
• Driver’s license.
