Scope

Manages Technical Assistance services by understanding customer's situations and ensuring the optimum resolution of customer's claims. Defines Tenaris products and discovers those needed for the future,

applying products into new applications and technically proving Tenaris value. Sells Tenaris products and services through engineered, value based solutions.

🔧 What You’ll Do:

  • Develops and handles refinement of local product strategies with Regional management.
  • Connects customer needs into Tenaris Product Development, forecasting and investing future applications and products.
  • Discovers opportunities, adds value to customer operations, prove differentiation and get Tenaris products as requested tender. Helps develop, distribute, and explain Tenaris sales tools.
  • Becomes an empowered, trusted member of customer's team, offers value added services (string design, running services, inspection, etc)
  • Assists a team and leads the customer investigation and claims management process. Manages communication channels, collects and deploys necessary resources; communicates results to technical customers; determines when issues are closed.
  • Acts as coordinator of the technical support in case of major/urgent technical issues affecting the service to customers.
  • Participates in setting and reviewing customer specific sales strategies; general technical review of tenders; communicate developments; give technical opinions on licensees; report competition developments; defend Tenaris intellectual property and other operational topics.
  • Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of responsibility.

Qualifications

👤 Your Profile:

  • Previous experience of at least 3 years in the Oil and Gas industry
  • Graduated with strong technical background (Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Petroleum Engineering); international experience is a plus
  • Good technical knowledge (mechanical, petroleum)
  • Ability to communicate with people at all levels and in a multicultural environment (both written and verbal)
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Pro-activeness, strategic and analytical thinking
  • Networking – capacity to build external and internal networks.
  • Ability to understand and transmit client needs
  • Active listening
