We’re Hiring: Technical Sales Engineer – ReedHycalog
Location: Maputo, Mozambique

Are you a driven sales professional with a passion for drilling technology and building strong client relationships? NOV ReedHycalog is looking for a Technical Sales Engineer to grow our footprint and deliver high-performance solutions across Mozambique.

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our team, you will:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their drilling plans and operational needs
  • Promote and deliver tailored ReedHycalog solutions to maximize performance and value
  • Identify new business opportunities, support tender processes, and expand market share
  • Track market intelligence, competitor activity, and product performance
  • Collaborate with technical and operations teams to ensure successful tool runs and customer satisfaction
  • Manage the full sales cycle—from order processing to invoicing and payment follow-ups
  • Drive revenue growth and consistently meet or exceed sales targets

What You Bring

  • A university degree (engineering preferred) or equivalent experience
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within oil & gas or drilling environments
  • Strong understanding of drilling, geology, or hydraulics (advantageous)
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a results-driven mindset
  • Strong problem-solving and time management abilities
