Specializing in water, energy, and waste management, Veolia Group designs and implements innovative solutions for decarbonization, depollution, and resource regeneration, supporting communities and industries in their ecological transformation. Within this framework, Veolia's Water Technology Business brings together a dedicated team of experienced professionals committed to tackling the world’s most complex challenges related to water scarcity, quality, productivity, and energy. Together, we pursue a shared mission to create a more sustainable future.
You will develop and maintain short term service contracts to support our customer’s normal plant operations, as well as water system upgrades, maintenance outages, peak demand periods, and commissioning activities. You will originate and develop multi-year service contracts that provide, sustain, and/or improve water treatment systems as long term partnerships with our customers. You will review and evaluate customer’s existing water treatment systems and develop and propose comprehensive solutions that bring value. You will
consider our wide technology portfolio, including various pretreatment technologies like clarification/filtration and UltraFiltration (UF), as well as demineralization technologies like Reverse Osmosis (RO), ElectroDeionization (EDI) and Ion Exchange (IX), to improve customer operations in pure water applications. You will also support customer wastewater and water reuse needs with treatment solutions like dissolved air flotation (DAF), membrane bioreactor (MBR), and general ZeeWeed* UF immersed membrane systems, providing beneficial reuse, turning wastewater into a valuable source. You will manage existing customer relationships and develop new ones to become a trusted partner. You will collaborate with other Veolia business lines within Water Tech as well as other Veolia entities within the Group. In all of this, you will establish and execute strategic growth plans and achieve revenue targets for the assigned region.
You will become a member of the best commercial organization in the water business: using curiosity and creativity to grow a quality pipeline, clearly defining needs/wants through a customer lens, developing/managing commercial plans with a focus on growth, and negotiating contracts that benefit our customers and our business. You will benefit from strong emotional intelligence with abilities to support and provide guidance to a multi-discipline team. Demonstrated success in all aspects of the role will result in future opportunities in commercial and business roles with possibilities of increased complexity and management responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will be self-driven with a strong affinity for helping others find success and a deep desire to develop creative, customer-focused solutions. You enjoy solving technical problems and use your inquisitive nature to build an understanding of what success means to others.
You will manage a territory with a strong customer base, that includes: metro-NY (NYC and Long Island), CT, MA, RI, VT, and NH; residing somewhere within the territory.
