Job Description

Slip Robotics is a B2B Robotics-as-a-Service company deploying autonomous loading and unloading robots — SlipBots and SlipLifts — at warehouse and fulfillment sites across North America. Our customers are some of the largest shippers and 3PLs in the industry, and we're scaling fast. We build the robots, we deploy them, and we keep them running.

We're looking for a Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring across our R&D, Hardware, Software, Data, and Systems teams. This is a highly cross-functional role — you'll partner closely with engineering leaders across mechanical, electrical, robotics software, and data disciplines to build the technical talent engine behind our next phase of growth. You'll need to move fast, operate independently, and bring a strong point of view on how to source and close hard-to-find technical talent in a competitive robotics/hardware market.

Responsibilities:

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for technical roles spanning R&D, Hardware (mechanical/electrical), Software, Data, and Systems Engineering
  • Partner directly with hiring managers and engineering leadership to define role requirements, calibrate hiring bars, and build effective interview processes
  • Proactively source passive candidates through channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, GitHub, technical communities, referrals, and networking events
  • Manage the end-to-end candidate experience — from initial outreach through offer and close — ensuring a high-quality, timely process at every stage
  • Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for hard-to-fill and specialized technical roles (e.g., robotics, embedded systems, controls, firmware)
  • Track and report on key recruiting metrics (time-to-fill, source of hire, funnel conversion) to inform hiring strategy
  • Continuously improve and help document our technical hiring process, interview structure, and candidate evaluation criteria as the company scales
  • Represent Slip Robotics' brand and culture to candidates in a competitive hardware/robotics talent market

Requirements

  • 4+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, ideally within hardware, robotics, or a related engineering-intensive industry
  • Demonstrated success recruiting across multiple technical disciplines (e.g., mechanical/electrical engineering, embedded/firmware, robotics software, data engineering)
  • Strong sourcing skills and comfort building pipelines for niche or hard-to-find technical talent
  • Experience partnering with engineering leaders and technical hiring managers to run effective, structured interview processes
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple open reqs simultaneously in a fast-paced startup environment
  • Comfort operating with ambiguity and building process where none exists yet

Benefits

  • Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision)
  • Paid Time Off (Vacation, Sick & Public Holidays)
  • Stock Option Plan

About Slip Robotics

Slip Robotics empowers people to auto-load/unload any truck in 5 minutes using SlipBot Automated Loading Robots (ALRs) -- at any dock, in any trailer, and with zero Wi-Fi or IT integration required. The SlipBot robots-as-a-service network drives 10x improvements in safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain.

🚚 Truckers shouldn't wait.

👷‍♂️ Forklift drivers shouldn't risk it.

⚡ Auto-load/unload any truck in 5 minutes with SlipBots.

Truck drivers spend 23% of their workday just idling at a dock and waiting for forklift drivers to load/unload their trailer, while forklift drivers face constant pressure to load/unload freight faster despite all the risks of damage and injury. Now, those same people can solve this bottleneck with the click of a button: commanding SlipBots to fully auto-load/unload a trailer in just 3 minutes, instead of rushing to drive forklifts in & out of a trailer for 30+ minutes.

The secret is SlipBot, a rugged and beautifully "simple" Automated Loading Robot (ALR) platform that carries 20 pallets per minute in/out of any trailer at any dock -- with no dock modifications, no special trailers, no IT integration, and no Wi-Fi required. It just works.

Slip seamlessly automates a process, not *just* a vehicle. The SlipBot RaaS (robots-as-a-service) network delivers 10x improvements in safety, speed, and savings across the supply chain. Slip's experienced team and field-proven SlipBots already power 24/7 production manufacturing and logistics operations for multiple Fortune 500 customers, and we're just getting started.
