McDermott Aviation is Australia’s leading privately owned aviation operator, headquartered in Cooroy, QLD, with growing operations in the US and Europe. We operate a diverse rotary-wing fleet delivering world-class fire-fighting and aerial application services. Safety, accuracy, and operational excellence are at the core of everything we do.

We’re looking for a Technical Records / Data Administrator to ensure our aircraft data and maintenance records are accurate, up-to-date, and compliant. This role is key to supporting maintenance, airworthiness, and operational planning, making sure our fleet information is always reliable and accessible.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain and audit aircraft technical records, logbooks, and maintenance documentation
• Enter, track, and manage maintenance data using Aeronet (or similar systems)
• Ensure records meet CASA, FAA, and company compliance requirements
• Support engineering and maintenance teams with accurate fleet data
• Track component history, modifications, and aircraft weight & balance
• Record defects, rectifications, and deferred maintenance
• Assist with audits, inspections, and regulatory reporting
• Manage digital records, archiving, and document control
• Contribute to improving processes, record accuracy, and efficiency

What We’re Looking For

• Experience in technical records, data management, or aviation administration
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively
• Good computer literacy and data entry skills
• Clear written and verbal communication
• Interest in aviation and aircraft operations

Role Details

• Full-time, permanent
• Sunshine Coast, QLD
• Monday to Friday, 8:00 am – 4:30 pm
