Technical Publications Specialist
Tactical Uncrewed Aircraft Systems (TUAS) provide responsive, on-demand aerial reconnaissance and surveillance to support commanders across the battlefield. These systems enhance situational awareness, enable rapid decision-making, and extend operational reach by delivering real-time intelligence in contested environments. TUAS platforms are designed for flexibility, integrating advanced sensors and communications to support a wide range of tactical missions.
A Technical Publications Specialist develops, writes, and maintains high-quality documentation that supports aerospace and defense systems throughout their lifecycle. They collaborate closely with engineers, analysts, and program teams to ensure all technical data is accurate, compliant, and aligned with contractual and military standards. This role includes organizing complex technical information into clear, user-focused manuals, guides, and digital content. The specialist also reviews and updates existing publications to reflect system modifications, safety requirements, and evolving customer needs. Overall, they help ensure that personnel can safely operate, maintain, and understand advanced equipment through precise and reliable documentation.

· Bachelor’s degree (recommended fields: Logistics, Engineering, Technical Writing, Aviation Technology, or related disciplines).
· Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in logistics, aviation maintenance, technical publications, or comparable military/industrial technical domains.
· Active Secret security clearance required.
· Experience creating, editing, and managing technical documentation.
· Strong understanding of technical writing standards and style guides.
· Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical data.
· Familiarity with common documentation tools) e.g. XML/SGML editors, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office).
· Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate content.
· Prior aviation maintenance experience
