Title of Role: Technical Projects Lead

Location: San Francisco, CA (FiDi – On-site, 5 days/week + half-day Sunday)
Company Stage of Funding: Series A trajectory (~$34M raised)
Office Type: On-site
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 base + Meaningful Equity + Performance Bonus (potential $300K+)
Visa: Visa sponsorship available for exceptional candidates (no new H1Bs)

The company works directly with top-tier AI organizations including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, Meta, and Amazon, helping power next-generation model training through advanced datasets, experimentation systems, and data infrastructure for agentic workflows.

Founded in 2024 and backed by Y Combinator, the company has raised $34M and is already generating 8-figure revenue with exceptional growth velocity.

Their work sits at the cutting edge of AI research infrastructure — enabling frontier labs to solve some of the hardest reasoning and agentic systems problems in the industry.

The team is highly talent-dense, with leadership backgrounds spanning Citadel Securities, Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and Silver Lake

This is a rare opportunity to join a hypergrowth AI company as an early operational-technical leader helping drive critical customer-facing projects.

What You Will Do

  • Own technical client projects end-to-end
  • Manage relationships with leading AI lab customers
  • Coordinate project execution across engineering and operations
  • Architect technical workflows for data generation and review systems
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering to solve customer problems
  • Manage teams of domain experts across technical verticals
  • Translate customer requirements into execution plans
  • Drive delivery under tight deadlines
  • Support frontier AI research initiatives
  • Help shape internal operational systems and processes
  • Execute high-priority cross-functional initiatives
  • Operate with significant autonomy and ownership

Ideal Candidate Background

  • 0–3 years of technical or project ownership experience
  • Strong software engineering fundamentals
  • Experience shipping code (internships, research, projects, or production systems)
  • Highly scrappy and execution-oriented
  • Comfortable owning external-facing workstreams
  • Strong client-facing communication skills
  • High agency and extreme ownership mentality
  • Comfortable in intense startup environments
  • Willing to work extended hours in-office
  • Strong intellectual curiosity

Preferred

  • Previous founder experience
  • Technical degree from top-tier university
  • Consulting / strategy experience (especially MBB)
  • Experience in technical client-facing roles
  • Full-stack engineering exposure
  • Strong coding proficiency in any major language
  • AI / ML infrastructure interest
  • Project management in ambiguous environments
  • Startup operating experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • Base salary: $110,000 – $150,000
  • Performance bonus: uncapped upside (potential $300K+)
