Project Manager (Enterprise Software Implementation)
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, execution, and successful delivery of large-scale, enterprise-level software implementation projects. This role is responsible for managing multi-year, multi-million-dollar initiatives that span multiple business units.
The Project Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including product management, business analysis, development, and quality assurance—to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget, while meeting the highest quality standards. This position plays a key role in driving project governance, risk management, and continuous improvement in delivery processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project delivery, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closeout of enterprise software implementations.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, tracking progress against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives.
- Manage project scope, timelines, and costs, applying structured change management and verification processes.
- Oversee project financials, including budget management, forecasting, and resource allocation.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks; maintain and manage risk registers and issue logs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, clients, and cross-functional teams.
- Facilitate project planning activities, including defining goals, deliverables, resource requirements, and success criteria.
- Lead project teams, assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Coordinate and support key project phases, including design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support.
- Ensure adherence to established project management methodologies, standards, and controls
- Manage and implement change control processes, including documenting, costing, and scheduling approved changes.
- Provide regular status reporting and communicate project updates, risks, and resolutions to leadership and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance project delivery, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Advocate for client needs and collaborate across teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery.
Project Lifecycle Expertise
Demonstrated experience managing all phases of the project lifecycle, including:
- Initiation
- Discovery (scope, requirements, and definition)
- Execution & Control (development, configuration, resource management, deliverables)
- Validation (QA, UAT, training, transition planning)
- Deployment (go-live)
- Post-Implementation Support (hypercare and ongoing maintenance)
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in enterprise software implementations.
- PMP certification preferred
- Proven experience managing multi-million-dollar projects
- Experience in Justice, Public Safety, or Public Sector environments preferred.
- Must be able to work within the Eastern Time Zone

Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with extended periods working at a computer.
