Job Description

This role is responsible for serving as a Technical Project Manager Engineer, leading offshoring and standardization initiatives for the Circuit Breaker product line. This role involves evaluating project requirements, technical specifications, and deliverables, while coordinating implementation activities across the customer order engineering team and other business units. The position plays a key role in supporting operational scalability, facilitating the transfer of work, and driving capacity growth through effective project execution and process standardization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage offshoring and standardization projects for the Circuit Breaker product line.
  • Analyze project requirements, technical specifications, and deliverables to ensure alignment with engineering and business objectives.
  • Coordinate project-related activities within the customer order engineering team to support successful implementation.
  • Coordinate offshoring activities with other business units and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment, effective execution, and successful project integration.
  • Coordinate the transfer of work to offshore or designated teams, ensuring a structured transition of tasks, technical requirements, and project expectations.
  • Facilitate knowledge transfer and maintain clear communication between teams to support continuity, consistency, and quality of work.
  • Drive engineering initiatives that improve operational efficiency and support capacity growth.
  • Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of standardized engineering processes, tools, and best practices.
  • Track project progress, identify risks and issues, and work with stakeholders to implement timely solutions.
  • Ensure project milestones, schedules, and deliverables are achieved in accordance with quality and business expectations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to define priorities, resolve challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Contribute to the enhancement of productivity, scalability, and process consistency across engineering operations.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in technical project engineering, project coordination, or a similar engineering role.

Desired Characteristics

  • Strong understanding of engineering processes, technical documentation, and project implementation.
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced setting.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and organizational skills.
  • Experience with offshoring, work transfer, process standardization, or capacity growth initiatives is preferred.
  • Knowledge of circuit breaker products, electrical engineering, or customer order engineering processes is an advantage.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $89,300.00 and $148,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas.
