The opportunity
We are looking for a Project Manager to strengthen our Team in our Business Unit Transformers, Ticino.
In this role you are leading the execution of medium-size projects mainly related to LV & MV Transformers and Reactors and ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with Hitachi Energy policy, quality standards, health & safety and environment requirements.

How you’ll make an impact
Developing project schedules, and determining resource requirements
Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards (e.g., International Standards Organization)
Manage After-Sales projects by ensuring the fulfillment of customer needs
Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
May include work managing multiple, interrelated projects (including business transformation projects)
On some projects, the work may include integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
Your background
Electrical Engineering or mechanical Engineering Background
2-3 years proven experience in Project Management with focus on Transformers and Reactors
Collaboration with diverse number of stakeholders
Very good knowledge of English and Italian; any other languages are a plus
Strong communicator, self-driven and open-minded
Structured and organized person with the ability to work under time pressure
Team-player able to build and motivate a project team
