Technical Project Manager

Want to work on technology that keeps public transit moving? At GMV, you’ll join a close-knit U.S. team developing and deploying Intelligent Transit Systems used by transit agencies nationwide, with the support of a global technology group.

WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?

As a Technical Project Manager, you will lead the successful delivery of complex OEM and technology deployment projects from initial planning through final implementation. Acting as the primary point of coordination between customers, internal stakeholders, and external partners, you will ensure projects are executed on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives.

You will work closely with Engineering, Product Management, Operations, Manufacturing, Procurement, Customer Success, and third-party vendors to drive project outcomes while balancing technical requirements, timelines, budgets, and customer expectations.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines technical understanding, project leadership, and customer engagement to deliver innovative solutions that have a direct impact on our customers' operations.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Leading technical projects throughout the full project lifecycle.
• Developing project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies.
• Managing project scope, timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder expectations.
• Acting as the primary liaison between customers, internal teams, and external vendors.
• Coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
• Proactively identifying and resolving issues that may impact project performance.
• Providing regular project status updates, reports, and documentation.
• Supporting product implementation, testing, validation, and customer acceptance activities.
• Driving continuous improvement initiatives and project management best practices.

WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?

We are looking for a project leader who combines strong technical acumen with exceptional organizational and communication skills. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of customer-facing initiatives, and can successfully coordinate multiple stakeholders to deliver results.

For this position, you will need:

• 3+ years of project management experience in technical, engineering, OEM, manufacturing, or technology environments.
• Proven experience leading cross-functional projects and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong understanding of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and risk management.
• Experience working directly with customers and external stakeholders.
• Ability to translate technical concepts into clear business communications.
• Strong problem-solving, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Proficiency with project management tools and Microsoft Office applications.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Project Management, or a related field preferred.
• PMP certification and OEM industry experience are a plus.

WHAT DO WE OFFER?

• Base salary between $100,000 to $110,000 per year, according to proven experience.
