Base salary: minimum 1450€ / monthly (depending on experiences and quality of the candidate)

As a Technical Project Manager, you will support and manage projects focused on bringing new manufacturing equipment into production. This includes preparing equipment specifications, tendering, capital planning, working with suppliers, and helping to install and validate machines at our site -- from design phase to start of production.

Your key duties and responsibilities as a Technical Project Manager:

• Development of the equipment specification for new equipment.

• Obtaining of good technical knowledge of Convatec’s products, materials & process technologies

• Support capital planning and track project budgets.

• Vendor selection and assessment

• Managing the project through design, build, testing, and installation phases.

• Ensure compliance with engineering and EHS standards

• Support the transfer of knowledge and processes from the project team to production.

• Leading the project team through technical reviews with and without supplier and during supplier visits

• Assurance of the equipment acceptance, transfer, installation and commissioning on site

About you:

• 1 - 3 years of experience in leading and delivering engineering projects/improvement activities including new product and machine development within manufacturing industry

• Ability to develop partnerships both within the organization and externally with customers or contractor representatives to deliver new products and machines on time, budget and to the highest quality through effective project management

• Ability to technically and commercially evaluate vendor proposals for new machines

• Ability to develop innovative solutions to problem solving and can propose and implement technical solutions to process capability and reliability issues

Education / Qualifications:

• Degree level in Engineering or a relative scientific/technical field

• Communicative level of English language (spoken and written).

• Willing to travel depending on project needs.
