The Opportunity

We are looking for a Technical Project Manager (TPM) to drive execution across complex engineering initiatives while also serving as a key interface for technical client integrations.

This role blends traditional TPM responsibilities with hands-on technical problem solving and operational improvement. You will help ensure that work is clearly defined, efficiently executed, and aligned with business priorities—while also identifying and improving the systems and processes that support delivery.

Project Delivery & Execution

  • Define project plans, timelines, and milestones in collaboration with engineering and product
  • Own planning and execution for complex engineering initiatives (e.g. third-party integrations, non-functional testing efforts)
  • Run project rituals (standups, planning, status updates) where needed to ensure progress and alignment Identify risks early and drive resolution

Process Improvement

  • Identify inefficiencies in engineering workflows, rituals, and SDLC processes
  • Propose improvements that increase throughput without introducing unnecessary overhead
  • Present recommendations to engineering leadership, supported by data
  • Measure and communicate the impact of implemented changes PRM tooling

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Act as a shared resource across squads, especially for high-priority or cross-cutting initiatives
  • Ensure alignment between engineering, product, QA, and DevOps
  • Help manage shifting priorities in a dynamic roadmap environment

Client Integration Support

  • Serve as a frontline technical resource for API-integrated clients
  • Reproduce API issues, analyze logs (e.g., New Relic), and coordinate with engineering teams to resolve problems
  • Help clients successfully onboard and troubleshoot integrations in a fast-paced environment

AI-Driven Optimization

  • Leverage AI tools to improve project planning, tracking, and analysis
  • Identify opportunities to use AI to reduce manual effort and improve visibility

What We're Looking For

  • 10+ years of experience as a TPM, Technical Program Manager, or similar role
  • Strong technical fluency—comfortable working with APIs, logs, and debugging tools
  • Experience working with engineering teams on complex systems
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to operate effectively in a fast-changing, high-priority environment
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on execution and outcomes
  • Strong experience with Jira

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting API integrations or external clients
  • Familiarity with tools like New Relic, AWS
  • Experience in ticketing, e-commerce, or high-scale transactional systems

Work-Life

Santa Monica/LA area preferred (hybrid in-office/remote). Open to remote applicants who can travel to the office periodically. At this time we are only able to hire US Citizens or active US Green Card holders.
