Job Description

Location: Dallas, TX

Job Type: Full-Time

Target Salary Range*: $175,000 - $220,000.

*This represents the potential salary range for this position depending on education level, years of experience and/or certifications in addition to other position specific requirements which may impact salary

The Technical Project Manager will be responsible for managing strategic data management projects, driving resolution of program issues and risks, and ensuring successful delivery of project milestones. This role requires strong facilitation skills to lead daily scrums, status meetings, and cross-team collaboration while effectively managing schedules, deliverables, scope, and budget in an Agile environment. The Technical Project Manager will also work closely with functional leads to align on project timelines, resource requirements, and solution delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage strategic Data Management projects across technology teams in a collaborative and results-oriented manner.

  • Identify, document, mitigate, and escalate program issues and risks as needed.

  • Facilitate meetings and discussions with project teams, leadership, and external vendors to resolve roadblocks or address changes in scope, schedule, or budget.

  • Manage projects using Agile methodologies, including facilitating daily Scrum meetings and ongoing status sessions to ensure timelines and deliverables are achieved.

  • Clearly and accurately communicate project status and plans to stakeholders at both functional and program leadership levels.

  • Ensure technical solutions follow best practices and are designed for long-term sustainability, collaborating closely with architects and technical teams.

  • Partner with functional leads to manage project timelines, deliverables, and resource allocations, escalating project or solution issues for resolution when needed.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as a Technical Project Manager on large-scale projects.

  • 4+ years of Agile project experience, including serving as a Scrum Master.

  • SQL experience is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Project, and Visio.

  • Ability to align technical solutions and project tasks with business requirements.

  • Strong meeting facilitation and communication skills.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent organizational skills with strong collaboration and troubleshooting abilities.

  • Entrepreneurial and flexible mindset with the ability to adapt quickly to changing needs.

  • Experience creating and delivering executive-level presentations.
