Newfire Global Partners is a leading technology firm that specializes in building transformative software solutions for some of the world’s most innovative companies. With a presence across four continents, Newfire Global brings deep expertise in digital healthcare, AI-driven analytics, and enterprise technology. The firm’s track record of delivering scalable, high-impact solutions has made it a trusted partner for organizations seeking to drive meaningful change through technology.

We are passionate about the purpose-driven mission to help improve the quality of care for patients and are building a collaborative, innovative, and inclusive culture. We are a fully funded company founded by serial entrepreneurs with a stable client base.
Opportunity for impact

Newfire Global Partners, a leader in developing disruptive healthcare technology, collaborates with Fortune 500 companies and start-ups to drive transformation.
Newfire is seeking a Senior Technical Project Manager to own day-to-day delivery execution for the platform rebuild. This person will work closely with engineering leads, product stakeholders, and executive leadership to ensure that priorities are clear, progress is visible, and risks are proactively managed.

This is not an Agile transformation role — core processes are already in place. Instead, this is a hands-on delivery leadership role focused on coordination, accountability, and communication across multiple streams of work.

You will serve as the operational backbone of the program, ensuring that teams stay aligned, stakeholders stay informed, and delivery remains predictable as the platform scales.

What's the Project?
Our client is a healthcare data analytics company that uses rigorous comparative effectiveness research to help employers and plan sponsors improve the value of their pharmacy benefits. By analyzing pharmacy claims and clinical evidence, our client identifies which medications deliver the best clinical outcomes at the lowest cost and translates those insights into actionable coverage and formulary strategies.

There are 3 key new initiatives that are to be tackled in 2026: 1) a complete infrastructure migration from Amazon AWS to Microsoft Azure, 2) a data transformation initiative turning manual analytics efforts using ad-hoc queries and tools to use industry best practice tools (Snowflake, dbt) and practices, 3) and a phased rebuild of their member portal (.NET, React.js). In addition to this, there are existing projects that need support to guide them to completion.

This role is critical to ensuring predictable delivery, clear stakeholder communication, and smooth coordination across distributed technical teams

Your day-to-day activities:

  • Own day-to-day delivery planning and execution across multiple engineering teams
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives
  • Maintain clear visibility into scope, timelines, dependencies, and risks
  • Provide structured status reporting to internal leadership and client stakeholders
  • Proactively identify blockers and coordinate with technical leads to resolve issues quickly
  • Ensure alignment between product priorities and engineering execution
  • Support release planning and cross-team coordination for phased feature rollouts
  • Drive accountability while fostering a collaborative and positive team environment
  • As a Senior team member, you will be expected to actively participate in our hiring processes by serving on interview panels for future roles across the company.
  • Sprints run predictably with clear priorities and minimal carryover
  • Stakeholders have clear visibility into progress and feel confident in delivery
  • Risks and delays are surfaced early with mitigation plans in place
  • Engineering teams remain focused, aligned, and shielded from unnecessary disruption
  • Releases happen smoothly and on schedule

Just so you know, employment will depend upon providing documentation verifying your legal work authorization in the country of residence, in accordance with applicable law.

You’re a perfect match if you have:

  • 7+ years of experience in technical project or program management within software development environments
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional engineering teams delivering complex web-based platforms
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum delivery, including sprint planning, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and release planning
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple parallel workstreams (frontend, backend, data, DevOps)
  • Experience working closely with senior stakeholders or executive leadership, with the ability to communicate status, risks, and trade-offs clearly and confidently
  • Strong ability to identify delivery risks early and drive mitigation plans across teams
  • Experience using project tracking and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including running structured status updates and stakeholder meetings
  • Ability to balance process discipline with pragmatism in a fast-moving product environment
  • Experience working with distributed or nearshore teams across time zones
  • Experience delivering healthcare, data analytics, or HIPAA-compliant platforms
  • Familiarity with modern cloud-based architectures (Azure preferred)
  • Experience supporting platforms with CI/CD, automated testing, and feature-flag-driven releases
  • Background working on customer-facing portals or SaaS products
  • PMP, PMI-ACP, CSM, or similar certification
