The primary and majority function of this job is to manage a team. Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, appraises, pay, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.). Responsible for resource allocation, including budget and personnel. Responsible for the management and delivery of the highest level of business or technical projects, and the planning and coordinating of high level programs or releases within the established timeframe from initiation through delivery on schedule and within budget. Serves as liaisons between technical and non-technical departments in order to ensure that all targets and requirements are met. Has comprehensive and diversified knowledge of methods and practices in broad areas of the customer's industry. Acts as lead on projects that span multiple products. Recognized by internal and external customers as a leader in a variety of areas. Sought out by others to solve their most complex of problems. Technical Lead in guiding junior engineers. Ability to understand complex products, solutions, and problems. Responsible to lead project teams to deliver projects on time and within budget through effective management of the project scope, budget, plan, resource, issues, and deliverables. Works without supervision on the most complex projects with complete latitude for independent judgment. Expert knowledge of the field. Assist with less experienced peers.

Key Responsibilities :
• Provides direction to senior managers in various areas, groups, and/or operations. Manages personnel activities of staff (i.e. hires, trains, appraises, pay, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary, etc.).
• Responsible for the management and delivery of the highest level of business or technical projects.
• Lead project implementation teams to deliver high quality solutions.
• Develop and manage project plans and schedules ensuring project status and open issues are documented and stakeholders are informed in a timely manner.
• Single point of contact for assigned customers.
• Proactively manage complex projects and changes in project scope to identify potential crisis.
• Initiate and control escalation within the relevant organization to resolve project issues or mitigate risk.
• Communicate project progress to stakeholders through meetings and timely status updates.
• Work closely with internal and external teams to track deliverables.
• Drive cross functional teams: deliverables, schedules, targets according to project plans.
• Work with project managers to align schedules and release dates.

Qualifications :
• Excellent time management, communication, decision-making, presentation, human relations, and organizational skills.
• Strong leadership skills
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage teams across multiple time zones and geographic locations.
• Expert knowledge in developing detailed plans for complex projects, with changing requirements, resources, and deadlines.
• Expert knowledge in project management concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Ability to work on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively
• Expert knowledge strong verbal and written communication and follow up skills
• Expert knowledge in people skills such as relationship building, negotiation, collaboration in cross functional internal and external teams.
• Ability to build credibility and trust with team members, customers, and senior management.
• Typically requires fifteen or more years of service and a master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent, and six to seven years of management experience
