Lead and develop NPD projects in EMEA in accordance with our development process on all technical aspects for design and development.
Responsible for the completion of assigned engineering projects within budgetary and scheduling guidelines.
Ability to lead tradeoff discussions and conversations around risk management with cross-functional teams.
Drive design of project to meet market driven design guides and fulfill cost, timing, reliability, and manufacturing requirements.
Analyze, evaluate and select from design execution alternatives to best meet specification objectives and implement designs into mass production.
Accountable for technical elements of project execution including integration of complicated components and assemblies, material selection, packaging and safety, regulatory and standards compliance.
Conduct design and safety reviews as needed to gain necessary approvals for product development phase progressions.
Schedules, develops agendas, facilitates and documents project meetings. Tracks project schedule to ensure adherence to timelines.
Regularly makes presentations of project status.
Bachelor's degree or further technical education, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Experience in project management and product development
Solid understanding of technical processes in Engineering like Product Development & technical documentation
Ideally experienced in safety footwear industry
Fluent in German and English, both written and spoken , another European language is of advantage
Advanced knowledge in MS office application
Extensive Knowledge in CAD system
Willingness to travel as required for business (30% ca.)
