About the role

This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead the programme and build out new capability and functions within the platform across Tesco Group, delivering a step change within our business.

As a TPM for Stores Operations Programmes, you will play a pivotal role working with the Product Managers, business stakeholders, Engineering teams, third parties and other Technology and Programme family members to define and deliver the change to embed new technology into our stores making them ready for the future.

You will be responsible for

This is an opportunity for an experienced Technical Programme Manager to lead the programme and build out new capability and functions within the platform across Tesco Group, delivering a step change within our business.

As a TPM for Stores Operations Programmes, you will play a pivotal role working with the Product Managers, business stakeholders, Engineering teams, third parties and other Technology and Programme family members to define and deliver the change to embed new technology into our stores making them ready for the future.


You will need

A proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology software

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Demonstrate resilience during incidents or change and continue delivery

· Strong Project, Stakeholder & Programme management skills, including:-

o Initiating and shaping programmes with substantial ambiguity, across multiple domains

o Building and managing plans, with clear transition states/phases, milestones & critical path

o Proactively identifying issues, risks & dependencies, working closely with Product and Engineering teams to resolve, mitigate, transparently track and make visible

o Understanding the trade-offs and resulting impacts; making impacts visible to Product, Infrastructure or Engineering for the right decision to be made

Desired skills:

· Experience of working with multiple teams to deliver expected outcomes

· Experience of working with suppliers and 3rd parties

· Finance Management
