Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Design, Manufacturing and Automation Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience as Technical Program Manager, Pixel Phone or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of relevant work experience.
- 2 years of industry experience.
- Project experience managing cross-functional Technical teams.
Preferred qualifications:
- MBA or a Master's degree in a related field of study.
- 10 years of direct experience working and managing international Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEM) partners.
- Demonstrated track record in managing a cross-functional team in order to achieve new product objectives inclusive of quality, yield and cost.
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time.

As a Sustaining Technical Manager, you'll be the Operations technical lead and cornerstone of operations communication with technical cross-functional teams during ramp to end of life. You will lead a team of professionals to ensure products are built to Google’s high standards during ramp and in mass production. Additionally, you will be able to work in a fast paced and sometimes high-pressure environment, as you work with teams to solve challenges that gate production line operations.

- Ensure early engagement with the New Product Insertion (NPI) cross-functional team in the development and support of new product introductions.
- Manage the technical operations side of large scope projects from ramp through end of life.
- Drive all manufacturing challenges related to board and final assembly and tests to effective closure and enable quality ramp and production.
- Responsible for scaling. Drive line bring-up and qualification activities for ramp and production.
- Drive continuous factory process and yield improvements and support Post Ramp Qualification activities.
