Role Description

As a Technical Program Manager, you will lead and optimize complex, ambiguous, and often undefined programs that have significant organizational impact. You will balance near-term deliverables with long-term strategy, navigating delivery challenges and opportunities in rapidly evolving environments. You will partner and strategize with leadership to seek out and drive collaborations across organizational boundaries, leveraging your technical judgment to inform strategic thinking and operational effectiveness.

In this role, you’ll:

• Define and drive strategic, ambiguous programs and processes that address significant challenges with cross product-area impact.
• Spearhead efforts to drive consistency, efficiency, and economies of scale across infrastructure workstreams.
• Partner with leadership across multiple functions to align on differing objectives and drive collaborations across organizational boundaries.
• Build and implement innovative solutions to improve operational effectiveness, identifying process breakdowns and anticipating/responding dynamically to change.
• Develop technical roadmaps and white papers alongside engineering stakeholders to provide data-driven influence on technical decision-making.
• Coach, mentor, and provide guidance to team members, setting best practices for program management within the organization.

At a minimum, we would like you to have:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years experience in a service provider or enterprise network working with competency in several core and/or access networking concepts, including TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, ELINE/ELAN/EVPN, and physical layer technologies (fiber optics, DWDM, transceivers) and AC/DC power systems.
• 2 years of technical program management or equivalent experience, specifically leading complex, cross-functional, and high-impact programs.
• Expertise in building and maintaining effective program teams and establishing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
• Ability to travel domestically up to 25%

It’s preferred that you have:

• Proficiency in instantiating highly scalable core and access networks in an active service-provider or enterprise environment
• Direct experience provisioning/operating/troubleshooting one or more of Juniper, Cisco, Arista, Nokia, or Ciena network equipment in a service provider or medium to large enterprise environment.
• Experience with basic network space planning (Rack face elevations, floorplans, electrical and heat density, etc).
• Experience in leading and managing program portfolios across broader organizations or Product Areas.
• Technical judgment and understanding, with experience influencing architectural and structural decisions.
• Experience in identifying systemic issues and translating them into actionable, long-term transformational initiatives.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is between $117,600 - $168,600 + bonus + benefits. As pay varies by location, your recruiter will share more about the specific salary range for your targeted location during the hiring process.
