We're seeking a Technical Program Manager to lead transformative initiatives across the Recipient Experience team, where you'll drive programs that modernize order history search, customer controls, and engagement experiences. This role offers the unique opportunity to navigate ambiguity across different teams, translating complex business visions into actionable technical roadmaps.

You'll lead large-scale, complex programs through the entire development lifecycle, partnering with engineering teams, product managers, and stakeholders across multiple organizations. Your leadership will ensure that business needs are met without compromising long-term platform health, while building cost-effective solutions at Amazon scale. Key job responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end program management of large-scale, complex initiatives across multiple engineering teams , managing planning, execution, status reporting, and coordination against delivery commitments
- Partner with business and engineering teams to translate product vision into technical requirements, facilitate roadmap development, and shape overall solutions that balance immediate business needs with long-term platform health and evolution
- Drive alignment and execution across technical and non-technical workstreams by coordinating with Technical Program Managers and Product Managers to synchronize initiatives, resolve dependencies, and ensure delivery against compliance readiness dates
- Proactively identify and mitigate program risks before they become blockers, making strategic trade-offs between scope, timeline, and resources while maintaining clear communication with stakeholders and escalating appropriately
- Coordinate with Software Development Engineers in Test and Quality Assurance teams to ensure thorough testing and quality standards are met before feature releases, while managing multiple concurrent programs and streamlining requirements for engineering team consumption

A day in the life
You'll start your day meeting with product managers to understand their vision and translate it into technical requirements, then collaborate with engineering teams and Software Development Managers to create work-backwards plans. Throughout the day, you engage stakeholders with progress updates, escalate when engineering teams encounter blockers, and manage multiple large programs simultaneously. You coordinate with Software Development Engineers in Test and Quality Assurance teams to ensure features are tested thoroughly before release, all while streamlining diverse requirements to enable efficient engineering team consumption.

About the team
The Recipient Experience team provides a transparent and flexible delivery experience that recipients love. Our team owns highly visible and trafficked customer destinations including Your Orders, Progress Tracker, Order Details, and Product Owner Page, along with customer notifications.

We're on a mission to modernize customer controls, enhance order history search capabilities, and engage speed customers in innovative ways. Our work directly impacts how customers interact with their Amazon purchases, creating experiences that delight and empower millions of customers daily.

Basic Qualifications


- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership
