  • 2 years of experience in program management.
  • 2 years of experience in data center or mission-critical operations.
  • Experience in human performance improvement.

Preferred qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.
  • Experience managing global programs and policy development within a technical environment.
  • Track record of designing and delivering technical training programs to large audiences.
  • Public speaking skills and enthusiasm for teaching/leading multi-day training events.
  • Ability to travel 30% of the time.

As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you’ll use your technical expertise to lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You’ll work with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. You're equally comfortable explaining your team's analyses and recommendations to executives as you are discussing the technical tradeoffs in product development with engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and evolve the global critical work process program and policy, ensuring alignment across all equipment domains including electrical, mechanical, and controls.
  • Field and prioritize program bugs, driving the development of tools and processes that optimize critical work execution.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive training curricula, including instructor-led materials and Learning Management System (LMS) modules.
  • Coordinate and manage regional trainers to deliver training sessions to the global fleet, ensuring consistent adoption of program standards.
  • Travel approximately 40% of the time to support fleet operations, conduct site reviews, and facilitate multi-day training events.
