
We are
looking for an individual who wants to work on a business that is growing at a
rapid pace. We are a team that brings out consumer electronics from the concept
stage to final delivery to end customers. We are critical part of product
management and hardware development process and are accountable for successful
product launches and ongoing support.
The
Technical Program Manager (Sr. TPM) will collaborate with internal and external
engineering teams to conceive and design innovative consumer products.
Throughout this process TPM will need to work closely with multi-disciplinary
groups including Product Design, Industrial Design, Hardware Engineering,
Software Engineering, Reliability and Operations.
The
individual must demonstrate technical leadership to:
Lead
mechanical and manufacturing engineering workstreams team through product
investigation, architecture, concept development, design, and validation.
Ensure
engineering best practices and internal development processes are followed for
all aspects of the end-product, including mechanical design and analysis,
component evaluation and selection, design reviews, prototyping,
characterization, testing, and productization.
Work with
the team to define and execute component, sub-system and full product test
plans as needed to ensure robust engineering design.
Partner
with cross-functional teams including industrial design, mechanical
engineering, software, test, integration, reliability, compliance/regulatory,
verification, qualification, manufacturing, program management, etc.
You must be
able to thrive and succeed in an entrepreneurial environment and not be
hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able
to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up
your sleeves, dig in, and get the job done.
As a TPM,
you will anticipate bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and
make trade-offs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints.
A day in the
life
Your day
will involve working with on new product concepts, debating engineering design,
meeting cross functional teams and CMs and brainstorming with the product team.
You will own the hardware design, and deliverables end to end and regularly
present to the executive team.

systems and build more smart connected products.
BASIC
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's
degree in engineering or related field
7+ years of
experience working directly with engineering teams
7+
consumer/handheld product development
Experience
managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable
processes, and coordinating release schedules good understanding of 2D and 3D
CAD software PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Master Level of education or greater
Demonstrated knowledge of tooling and materials process validation (SPC, Cp,
CpK) and strong mechanical intuition.
Demonstrated
design knowledge integrating component modules (I/O, Displays, Batteries, PCBs,
etc.) Analytic problem-solving skills, including knowledge of 8D, Six Sigma,
DOE or similar disciplines Proficiency with Design for Cost and Design for
Manufacture for consumer products Excellent verbal and written skills to
effectively communicate Hands on experience with development using outside
supplier teams
