Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Program Management-related occupation.
  • Position requires 2 years of experience in the following: SQL, SAP, CRM, ERP and Supply Chain planning systems. Project or program management, quantitative assessment and analysis across multiple technical disciplines. Analyzing complex data sets to drive a plan of action using Return On Investment (ROI) and NPV (Net Present Value) analysis. Driving leadership forums through structured decision-making and risk analysis. Analyzing financial impacts for capacity investment decisions for unplanned demand using statistical volatility analysis

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $177,050 - $198,000 + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits determined by role, level, and location. Position reports to the Google Sunnyvale, CA office & may allow for a hybrid schedule as per Google policy.

Responsibilities

  • Establish and utilize best methods (statistical models, processes and software tools) in predicting Cloud capacity demand
  • Develop supply plans that optimize the trade-offs between shortage vs excess and build vs upgrade
  • Lead demand and supply planning meetings with cross functional teams, reviewing demand/supply risks, budget and efficiency goals, and developing and justifying inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility
  • Own supply chain metrics such as forecast accuracy/bias and drive planning improvements
  • Develop compelling, insightful strategic recommendations to the Cloud leadership team by framing and structuring complex, ambiguous, business implications across a range of available data sets and analysis. Drive process improvements and system enhancements in partnership with cross-functional teams and collaborate with the Engineering Dev team to drive Automation initiatives.
