Job Description

This role bridges the gap between business requirements, complex data streams, and actionable AI/analytical solutions. The role spans the full project lifecycle—from strategic problem definition and backlog grooming to technical delivery and operational deployment. You will work end-to-end with Product Owners, business managers, data engineers, software developers, data scientists to deliver critical data products that power business operations and evidence-based decision-making in a fast-paced, innovative environment.

  1. Strategically coordinate with critical stakeholders and senior leadership to develop holistic product development/maintenance plans, ensuring on-time, high-quality launches.
  2. Manage comprehensive plans for complex, high-impact technical projects, ensuring on-time and high-quality delivery (using skills such as data acquisition, data engineering, programming, modelling and visualization) Work closely with development teams to ensure products are built to specifications. Drive the adoption of software tools and manage end-to-end delivery, including CI/CD and production launches.
  3. Deep dive into complex technical issues to understand root causes, evaluate trade-offs, and propose strategic solutions. Anticipate technical hurdles and manage risks appropriately.
    1. Work with large, complex data sets using tools such as Python, SQL, Google Cloud Services, Hadoop

    2. Work with Data Scientist to develop and deliver analytic products on Generative AI (LLM models)

    3. Work with Data Scientist to d evelop and deliver analytic products using skills such as statistical analysis, machine learning, algorithm design, and interface development.
  4. Drive continuous improvement of the operational model by aligning work, capacity, and strategic objectives. Develop and track metrics to analyse product performance and user feedback to continuously drive product improvements.
  5. Lead and facilitate all product line agile ceremonies. Establish and champion organization-wide standards for Jira usage, advanced automation, backlog grooming, retro connects, and dependency management. Serve as the primary technical contact for project communications across cross-functional teams.
  6. Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate high-impact interdependencies and technical risks. Establish clear escalation paths for critical program and team blockers.
  7. Directly influence business scope and technical approaches through an in-depth understanding of both business outcomes and technical solutions. Define new organizational patterns for governance.
  8. Author and maintain robust project documentation (PRDs), including technical roadmaps, dependency maps, and change control audit trails, ensuring data integrity for accurate reporting and decision-making.
  9. Mentor and guide junior team members in effective collaboration and agile facilitation. Identify and champion opportunities to streamline workflows and reduce technical overhead.
  10. Serve as the primary contact for external project communications, explaining highly complex technical concepts to diverse audiences, from engineering teams to senior executives.

Qualifications

  1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Data Science, Engineering, or a related quantitative discipline.
    1. 5+ years of experience in program/product management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and their practical application.
    2. 2+ years of experience using project management tools, specifically Jira, for complex tracking, reporting, and dependency management.
    3. 2 + years of experience or other significant, independent project experience using analytical tools
    4. Familiarity with BigQuery, SQL, and visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Looker)
    5. Conceptual knowledge of predictive analytics techniques like Regression, Classification, Clustering, Tree-based algorithms etc.,
    6. Conceptual knowledge in one or more of the following domains: NLP, forecasting algorithms and deep learning etc.
    7. Technical ability to deep-dive into complex issues to understand root causes, evaluate trade-offs, and propose strategic solutions.
    8. An architectural understanding of data ecosystems, integration points, and future scalability needs.
    9. Proven experience in leading backlog grooming for complex technical products.
    10. Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
    11. Comfortable working in an environment where problems are not always well-defined.

Our preferred requirements

  1. 3+ years of experience in managing cloud-native AI, analytics, or big data products ( Python, SQL, and/or visualization/dashboard tools (such as Tableau, PowerBI ) )

  2. 3+ years of work experience in data mining, statistical analysis, modeling, optimization or similar analytics

  3. Expertise in advanced Jira configuration, automation, and reporting to support complex product line operations.

  4. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools such as FOSSA, Cycode, SonarQube, GitHub Co-pilot.

  5. Proficiency in data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI) to communicate product insights.

  6. Ability to quickly develop technical depth in new technologies to highlight risks and concerns effectively.

  7. Well-organized, self-starter, and capable of working with minimal supervision in a global team setup.

  8. Inquisitive, proactive, and interested in learning new tools and techniques to drive the adoption of best practices.

  9. Work experience in the automotive or manufacturing industry is a big plus.
