Technical Program Manager – Data Collections

Centific is looking for a Technical Program Manager (TPM) to lead large-scale, audio/video data collection programs that power AI and machine learning systems. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in managing global data operations, technical workflows, and vendor ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and manage end-to-end data collection programs involving audio, image, video, and text data for AI training, embedding quality at every step
• Collaborate with data scientists, moderators, and engineers to define data specifications, quality metrics, and delivery timelines.

• Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Hardware, or a related field. Master’s degree or MBA is a plus.
• Experience: Minimum 8 years of experience in program management, with at least 4 years in AI data collection, data operations, or related technical domains.
• Strong technical understanding of data pipelines, annotation tools, and AI training data requirements.
• Experience with data labeling platforms (e.g., Labelbox, Appen, Scale AI, AWS SageMaker Ground Truth).
• Proven ability to manage distributed teams and vendors across multiple time zones.
• Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Oversee global vendor and crowd-sourced teams to ensure data collection meets quality, volume, and compliance targets.
• Implement scalable workflows and automation tools to optimize data pipelines and reduce manual overhead.
• Monitor program KPIs, data throughput, and quality assurance processes.
• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) and ethical AI standards.
• Provide regular program updates, risk assessments, and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders.
• Act as client-facing POC
• Manage and mentor Project Coordinators

Salary: $120k
