As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Technical Product Specialist to join our Product team. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer or physicist who enjoys solving technical problems, working across multidisciplinary teams and translating complex technologies into products customers value.

Whether you're an early-career engineer or physicist, or someone with experience in systems engineering or technical product development, this role offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, customers and product development.


About the Role

Reporting to the Product Manager, you'll help bridge the gap between Product and Engineering by translating customer needs, technical capability and product strategy into clearly defined product requirements and supporting documentation.

Working closely with Product, Engineering, Physics, Research and Business Development, you'll contribute to product definition, roadmap development and technical feasibility assessments while developing a deep understanding of QuantX's technologies.

This is a highly collaborative role suited to someone who enjoys learning, asking questions and working with technical experts to solve complex challenges.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll support the Product Manager by:

  • Translating customer, technical and business requirements into product features and engineering-ready requirements.
  • Developing and maintaining product specifications, feature definitions and technical documentation.
  • Supporting product roadmap development and release planning.
  • Working closely with Engineering teams to understand technical feasibility, dependencies and implementation considerations.
  • Assisting with product definition workshops and technical trade-off discussions.
  • Monitoring emerging technologies, market trends and competitor capabilities.
  • Supporting customer discovery activities and translating insights into product recommendations.
  • Building strong relationships across Product, Engineering, Research and Business Development.

About You

We're looking for someone who is curious, analytical and passionate about technology.

You'll ideally have:

  • A degree in Engineering, Physics or another STEM discipline.
  • Relevant experience in engineering, physics, product development or a related technical environment (typically up to 5 years).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written communication and technical documentation skills.
  • The ability to understand complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
  • A collaborative approach and confidence working with multidisciplinary technical teams

Experience in Photonics, Quantum Technologies, Space or advanced manufacturing will be highly regarded but is not essential.
