The Technical Product Owner, Enterprise Architecture is responsible for shaping and delivering the product roadmap for Enterprise Architecture platforms, architecture data capabilities, automation services, and AI-enabled EA solutions.
This role helps evolve the EA Office toward a product-oriented operating model focused on trusted architecture data, integrated platforms, simplified stakeholder experiences, and measurable enterprise outcomes.
The role partners across architecture, technology, data, security, governance, and delivery teams to translate stakeholder needs into practical product increments that improve decision-making and execution.
What will you do?
Define and communicate the technical product vision for Enterprise Architecture platforms, data products, automation capabilities, and AI-enabled EA solutions.
Own and manage the product roadmap and backlog, ensuring priorities align with EA strategy, technology modernization, governance needs, and enterprise value.
Translate stakeholder needs into product features, technical requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and measurable success outcomes.
Partner with Enterprise Architects, platform teams, data and integration teams, security, governance, vendors, and delivery partners to shape scalable solutions.
Drive improvements to architecture repositories, application and technology portfolio data, dashboards, reporting, workflows, integrations, and automation.
Support AI-ready architecture data by improving data quality, metadata standards, lineage, integration patterns, and trusted data flows across EA systems.
Assess and manage technical risks, dependencies, platform health, technical debt, operational impacts, and opportunities for simplification.
Facilitate product discovery, backlog refinement, sprint planning, release planning, demos, roadmap reviews, and stakeholder feedback sessions.
Define and monitor product success measures, including adoption, data quality, stakeholder satisfaction, delivery throughput, platform reliability, and reduction of manual effort.
Communicate roadmap trade-offs and delivery progress clearly, ensuring stakeholders understand priorities, decisions, and expected outcomes.
What do you need to succeed?
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education and experience in technology, business, architecture, product management, engineering, information systems, or a related discipline.
Experience in technical product ownership, product management, business analysis, enterprise architecture, platform management, or technology delivery.
Experience working in an agile delivery environment, including backlog management, user story creation, prioritization, sprint planning, demos, and release planning.
Strong ability to translate complex business, architecture, data, and technical needs into clear product requirements and delivery priorities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess alternatives, risks, dependencies, benefits, and implementation trade-offs.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly to technical and non-technical audiences.
Client-focused mindset with a passion for improving user experience, reducing manual effort, and delivering measurable outcomes.
Experience with Enterprise Architecture, architecture governance, technology portfolio management, application portfolio management, or architecture repository platforms.
Experience with tools such as Ardoq, ServiceNow, LeanIX, MEGA, Bizzdesign, or similar architecture and portfolio management platforms.
Understanding of architecture data models, metadata, data quality, integrations, reporting, dashboards, workflow automation, and AI-ready data practices.
Familiarity with AI-enabled solutions, agentic AI concepts, APIs, analytics, cloud, cybersecurity, or technology modernization.
CSPO, SAFe POPM, Agile, Scrum, Product Management, or equivalent certification would be an asset.
Ability to create executive-ready product roadmaps, decision materials, status updates, and value-based reporting.
