We're currently hiring a Technical Product Owner to join one of our partners.

Who they are looking for: Our client is hiring a senior Technical Product Owner for AI products that extract, understand, and structure information from CVs, job postings, and skills data. This role sits at the centre of complex, high-scale AI product delivery. You will work closely with engineers and data scientists, contributing to how AI systems are built, evaluated, and improved.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Working across Product Management, Engineering, and Architecture to align on priorities and approach.
  • Leading backlog refinement and sprint planning across multiple complex initiatives, ensuring the team understands the value and impact of what they are building.
  • Collaborating with AI/ML engineers and data scientists to shape experiments, interpret results, and prioritise improvements.
  • Identifying and resolving cross-team delivery dependencies before they become blockers.
  • Resolving customer and internal product escalations, balancing urgency with roadmap commitments.

Requirements: 
  • You have 4+ years in product ownership and are known as the go-to expert on your product
  • You thrive in complex technical environments and are comfortable operating without a playbook
  • You keep the team connected to the problem they are solving by sharing feedback, usage patterns, and real-world outcomes
  • You are confident in making prioritization decisions under ambiguity and bring strong ownership and accountability
  • You have enough technical grounding to engage engineers as a peer: you understand how systems are built, spot constraints, and earn the team's trust
  • You have hands-on experience with AI/ML products and understand how models are trained, evaluated, and improved, not just what they produce
  • You are using AI effectively to accelerate your work, while taking full ownership of the quality of every output
  • You communicate in English at a professional level, both written and spoken.
Nice to Have: 
  • Familiarity with information retrieval systems (e.g. Elasticsearch / OpenSearch)
  • Familiarity with taxonomies, ontologies, or graph databases
  • Exposure to the staffing, recruiting, or HR tech industry
  • Experience with AI compliance considerations in product development
  • Prior experience with similar ATS/recruitment technology platforms
