About the Role

This role builds world-class experiences that connect Base's value props throughout the entire member lifecycle. This starts at building data-driven marketing experiences that drive education and conversion at the top of the funnel and extends to delivering post-conversion interactions that support member retention and satisfaction.

Doing this well means being obsessed with the user-facing experience. You need 1) high user empathy and 2) a habit of finding simple ways to communicate complex insights. Delivering products like this is not easy. It typically involves tying data together across multiple systems in a creative, scalable, and cohesive way.

This is a technical role. While you do not need software experience, you must be able to build quickly with strong foundational architectures that are designed to scale and iterate. You will be working within the constraints of an existing system so 0 → 1 vibe coding, typically does not meet the bar.

What You’ll Do

• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and other GTM teams to understand gaps in the member-experience and user journey with Base.
• Investigate product experiences that could improve the current user journey.
• Explore and acquire what data we have and what data we might need to build better experiences.
• Ship MVP experiences quickly and collect data to measure outcomes, success, and learnings.
• Iterate quickly.
• Build out product roadmaps across the experience funnel to solve conversion and retention problems.

What You'll Bring

• A user-centric approach to investigating, understanding, and solving problems.
• Systems thinking: understanding how data and processes connect across teams.
• Experience in growth engineering, product, or another fast-paced technical role.
• Strong data fundamentals: building reports to investigate problems, analyze results, drive action from insights, and monitor success.
• A drive to iterate and improve rapidly.
• An understanding of software architectures and best practices.
• Strong communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
