Job Description

[What the role is]

Form part of the Product Team with Product Owner and Product Manager to manage the entire product development cycle, from conceptualization, to getting buy-in with internal and external stakeholders, till delivering the product to end users.

[What you will be working on]

Product Strategy & Vision

  • Define and drive the technical product roadmap aligned with business objectives
  • Identify opportunities and develop product strategies based on user needs and technical capabilities
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to establish product vision and success metrics

Technical Leadership

  • Work closely with engineering teams to define technical requirements and architecture decisions
  • Evaluate technical feasibility of proposed features and provide alternatives when needed
  • Balance technical debt with new feature development
  • Guide technical decision-making while considering scalability, performance, and maintainability

Product Development

  • Write detailed technical specifications and user stories
  • Prioritise product backlog based on business value and technical constraints
  • Lead sprint planning and grooming sessions
  • Manage dependencies across multiple technical workstreams

Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the bridge between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers and software engineers to ensure technical feasibility of proposed solutions
  • Work with business process owners and relevant stakeholders to gather business and technical requirements

Data & Analytics

  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Use data analytics to drive product decisions
  • Monitor technical metrics and system performance

Domain Areas

  • You will be assigned to work on Product (s) in one of the following domains:
  • Customer related products supporting the domain of Customer Relationship Management, Customer Interaction, Community Engagement etc
  • Employee related products supporting the domain of Human Resource, Finance, Payment, Procurement, Incident Management, etc
  • Building related products supporting the domain of Town Planning, Building & Infrastructure Design, Construction Management, Estate Upgrading, 3D Integrated Digital Delivery (IDD), Digital Twin and Spatial Intelligence capabilities across the built environment lifecycle.

[What we are looking for]

  • Strong background in Computer Science, Computer or Electronics Engineering, Information Technology or related technical discipline
  • Minimal 3 years business analyst experience in software development projects
  • Minimal 2 years experience working in an Agile environment and Cloud platform
  • Ability to work effectively and independently under pressure, meet deadlines, multitask and to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Possess business case and user-stories development skills
  • Process good communication skills, ability to articulate technology concepts, participate in discussions on requirements with stakeholders
  • Process strong collaboration skills, ability to partner and work effectively across teams and with business stakeholders in development as well as problem solving
  • Process good knowledge of web, mobile and Cloud technologies, and their impact and feasibility on design solutions
  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA will be an added advantage
