Company Description
Our client is an early-stage fintech company building modern software for investment banks and financial institutions.
The company develops a technology platform that helps investment banking teams manage corporate access workflows, client relationships, communications, events, and reporting. Its platform combines CRM capabilities, email integrations, workflow automation, and AI-powered tools to streamline complex institutional financial operations.
As the company expands its enterprise customer base, it is looking for a Technical Product Manager to help scale implementations, improve integrations, and build reusable platform capabilities.
This is a high-ownership opportunity to work closely with company leadership and influence both customer implementations and the core product roadmap.
What You Will Do
- Own technical product initiatives from initial scoping and requirements through implementation and launch.
- Serve as the primary technical product contact for enterprise customer implementations.
- Lead integrations involving APIs, CRM systems, email platforms, SSO, and data migration workflows.
- Translate complex customer requirements into clear technical specifications and actionable engineering priorities.
- Partner with Engineering to define integration architecture, data mappings, and implementation requirements.
- Manage implementation relationships and coordinate technical delivery across customers and internal teams.
- Identify recurring customer requirements and turn them into scalable, reusable product capabilities.
- Work alongside the Product Lead to prioritize features and make product scope decisions.
- Contribute to core platform features and technical initiatives when implementation demand is lower.
- Collaborate directly with company leadership to shape product direction and customer experience.
- Balance customer-specific needs with long-term platform scalability.
Ideal Candidate Background
- 3+ years of product management experience, with a demonstrated record of shipping features and products.
- Strong technical understanding of APIs, integrations, data-heavy products, or enterprise software.
- Experience owning complex customer implementations, technical integrations, or data migration initiatives.
- Ability to independently define product scope, write specifications, and work closely with Engineering.
- Experience translating customer requirements into technical product solutions.
- Strong understanding of enterprise software workflows and integration challenges.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ownership of meaningful product initiatives from conception through launch.
- Collaborative working style and comfort operating in a small product organization.
- Ability to work onsite in New York City five days per week.
Preferred
- Computer Science, Engineering, or similarly technical background.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, fintech, financial services, or investment banking technology.
- Experience integrating CRM, email, authentication, or data platforms.
- Previous experience at an early-stage or high-growth technology company.
- Experience owning customer-facing implementations while contributing to a broader product roadmap.
- Familiarity with REST APIs, data mapping, SQL, SSO, or enterprise integrations.
- Experience building reusable product functionality from customer-specific requirements.
Compensation & Benefits
- $140,000–$180,000 base salary
- Competitive equity
- Significant ownership over technical product initiatives
- Direct collaboration with the CEO and Product Lead
- Opportunity to shape an emerging enterprise fintech platform
- Exposure to sophisticated financial institution customers
- Onsite team environment in Manhattan's Flatiron District
This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong Product Manager who enjoys working directly with customers, solving complex integration problems, and shipping meaningful product improvements.
