Job Description

Driven by the passion to improve quality of people’s lives, WSA continues to grow as market leader in the hearing aid industry. With our commitment to increase penetration in an underserved hearing care market, we want to accelerate our business transformation in order to reach more people, more effectively.

We are evolving our product portfolio across integration platforms, SaaS applications, data initiatives, and other digital capabilities. As that portfolio grows, we need a Technical Product Manager who can connect business needs to technical delivery — ensuring the products we build are not only strategically aligned, but also practical, measurable, and well-adopted.

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager who can bridge the gap between business stakeholders and engineering teams. You will translate business, operational, and technical requirements into clear product priorities, release plans, and acceptance criteria — and you will drive the adoption and continuous improvement of the products we deliver.

What you will do

You will work closely with Engineering Managers, Solution Architects, UX/UI Designers, QA, DevOps, business stakeholders, and leadership to shape the product direction and ensure delivery stays aligned to business outcomes.

In practice, that means you will turn strategic intent into a clear product roadmap, define well-scoped backlog items, and help the team build products that are useful, usable, and measurable.

Define and prioritise product direction

  • Define and communicate the product vision aligned with business objectives.
  • Maintain the product roadmap based on customer needs, market trends, and strategic priorities.
  • Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, operational efficiency, and business outcomes.
  • Evaluate market trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies to guide product direction.

Translate needs into delivery-ready plans

  • Gather and analyse business requirements from customers and stakeholders.
  • Translate business needs into clear features, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
  • Define product goals, success metrics, and release objectives.
  • Prioritise the backlog using business value, customer impact, and technical feasibility.
  • Balance short-term delivery with long-term product strategy.

Own delivery and adoption

  • Own and manage the product backlog.
  • Work closely with Scrum teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood.
  • Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Collaborate with Engineering Managers and Solution Architects to plan releases.
  • Support user acceptance testing, production readiness, and post-release adoption.

Product analytics

  • Define and monitor key performance indicators.
  • Analyse product performance using customer feedback, usage metrics, and business data.
  • Make data-driven decisions for future enhancements.
  • Track feature adoption, customer satisfaction, and business outcomes.

Use data and AI to shape decisions

  • Evaluate AI-powered features and capabilities for prioritisation within the product portfolio.
  • Use AI-assisted analysis to synthesise customer feedback, usage data, and research at scale.

Collaborate across functions

  • Build strong relationships with customers, business leaders, and cross-functional teams.
  • Gather feedback through interviews, workshops, and product usage insights.
  • Communicate product vision, roadmap, and release plans to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Architecture, UX/UI, QA, DevOps, Cloud Infra, Marketing product teams, mobile app teams, program managers, business, Sales, Customer Success, and executive leadership.
  • Ensure alignment across teams throughout the product lifecycle.

What you bring

Experience and Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in Product Management, Business Analysis, or Product Owner.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing digital or software products.
  • Experience working with Agile software development teams.
  • Experience managing SaaS, cloud-based, integration, or data-focused products.
  • Experience engaging multiple stakeholders, facilitating requirements sessions, and turning ambiguity into clear priorities.
  • Experience managing enterprise software products, integration platforms, or notification/messaging systems.
  • Experience managing data products, data engineering initiatives, or data analytics platforms and dashboards.
  • Experience working in a medical device, hearing aid, or regulated healthcare product environment.
  • Exposure to Quality Management Systems (QMS), particularly ISO 13485, and an understanding of how regulatory requirements shape product requirements, change control, and documentation practices.
  • Professional certifications such as CSPO, PSPO, SAFe Product Manager/Product Owner, or Pragmatic Institute certifications.

Technical skills

  • Product roadmap planning and product lifecycle management
  • Release planning, product discovery, and requirements management
  • Cloud-native application architecture
  • REST APIs, system integrations, and orchestration/middleware patterns
  • Microsoft Azure fundamentals
  • Web applications built with .NET and ReactJS
  • Multi-tenant SaaS architecture concepts
  • Data engineering, data pipelines, and analytics platform concepts
  • Identity, access management, and data governance fundamentals
  • Software development lifecycle and DevOps / CI-CD concepts
  • Working knowledge of AI-assisted product discovery and documentation tools

Personal competencies

  • You are a natural connector — you build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders and keep them aligned.
  • You are precise with definitions — you know that unclear requirements create avoidable product risk.
  • You are thorough in documentation — you treat roadmaps, specifications, and acceptance criteria as deliverables.
  • You advocate for the customer and the business — you think about how the product will be used and how it creates value.
  • You manage ambiguity well — you can take a loosely defined problem and turn it into a structured, actionable plan.
