About you

You are a delivery-oriented Senior Product Manager who thrives in cross-functional environments where strategic thinking, clear communication, and hands-on execution go hand in hand. You are comfortable bringing structure to complex backlogs, driving alignment across distributed teams, and operating independently within high-expectation consulting environments.

You bring a proactive and execution-focused mindset, capable of owning sprint delivery end-to-end while balancing roadmap priorities, stakeholder communication, and product execution. You are confident facilitating Agile ceremonies, managing competing priorities, and translating product strategy into actionable backlog items and measurable outcomes.

You also actively leverage AI tools as part of your daily workflow to improve documentation quality, accelerate delivery, streamline collaboration, and support rapid product iteration. You thrive in environments where adaptability, accountability, and continuous improvement are highly valued.

You Bring to Applaudo the Following Competencies:

  • Strong Agile/Scrum fluency, including backlog refinement, sprint ceremonies, user story writing, and acceptance criteria definition.
  • Proven experience managing product delivery across ideation, design handoff, development, UAT, release planning, and post-deployment activities.
  • Proven ability to translate product strategy into structured multi-quarter roadmaps and prioritized backlogs.
  • Experience facilitating collaboration across Engineering, Design, and stakeholder groups within cross-functional environments.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting updates, priorities, and risks to senior stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with Figma for mockup reviews and design handoff collaboration.
  • Active use of AI-assisted tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, or Claude Code within day-to-day product workflows.
  • Ability to leverage AI tools for repository analysis, story generation, rapid prototyping, and workflow optimization.
  • Background in consulting environments or experience within data-centric product organizations. (Highly desirable).
  • Technical or coding knowledge. (Nice to have).
  • Advanced English proficiency (written and verbal).

You Will Be Accountable for the Following Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain a well-groomed backlog: detailed user stories, acceptance criteria, and prioritization aligned with engineering and business needs.
  • Facilitate all core Scrum ceremonies and drive alignment across distributed teams within the client's delivery framework.
  • Lead release planning, UAT, release notes, and usage reporting.
  • Act as the primary product point of contact for the development team and senior stakeholders: regular updates on progress, risks, and priorities.
  • Triage bugs and enhancement requests; manage intake, prioritization, and assignment.
  • Support user interviews and discovery; synthesize findings into backlog recommendations.
  • Ramp into multi-quarter roadmap and strategic prioritization responsibilities as engagement matures.
  • Leverage AI tools actively to improve documentation quality, workflow efficiency, and delivery speed.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience with Agile/Scrum delivery and backlog ownership
  • Experience managing product delivery across the full SDLC
  • Proficiency with Figma and cross-functional product collaboration
  • Active use of AI tools within product management workflows.
  • Advanced English proficiency.
