About the role:
The Technical Procurement Specialist is responsible for supporting the end‑to‑end engagement of major equipment and associated services for CDC Developments. This role ensures the provision of services and equipment that meet high standards of quality, reliability, and operational scalability, while securing optimal commercial terms to achieve business objectives.

Other responsibilities include:

  • Support planning activities for new builds and service requirements by providing input on capacity, scope, and delivery needs.
  • Align service and equipment requirements with project timelines, milestones, and procurement processes from design through to commissioning.
  • Provide technical and commercial insight for proposals, supplier engagement, and overall services coordination.
  • Manage procurement and engagement of service providers, maintain progress, mitigate risks, and report on service delivery status.
  • Conduct onsite checks and assist with scope clarification, estimating, and invoicing to support accurate and timely project delivery.
  • Coordinate logistics, compliance activities, and continuous improvement across all phases of service and project execution.

About you:

This role would be suitable for someone with strong commercial and technical understanding across construction, industrial facilities, or large‑scale services environments. We are open to candidates from a mechanical, electrical, or ICT/OT background, that are looking to further their career within the procurement field.

  • Experienced in managing contracts, technical scopes, and supply agreements for services and equipment.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence, negotiate, and resolve issues across diverse engineering, construction, and supplier stakeholders.
  • Capable of maintaining strong client relationships and supporting delivery outcomes that meet satisfaction and performance targets.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills for analysing costs, schedules, and procurement data.

Essential:

Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain a NV1 Security Clearance.
