Technical Principal – Water Asset Management - Auckland
We have an exciting opportunity for a Principal or Technical Principal – Water Asset Management to join our Water team in Auckland. In this senior role, you will provide technical leadership for WSP’s Water Asset Management practice, helping clients improve asset performance, resilience, investment planning and regulatory readiness.

You will lead water asset management services across strategy, planning, lifecycle management, investment, risk, resilience, performance and asset information. You will also build trusted advisor relationships with water sector clients and regulated suppliers, support business development, and contribute to thought leadership that strengthens WSP’s market profile.

About you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification and professional registration or accreditation.
  • Minimum of 15 years’ professional experience in asset management, water services, utilities and/or advisory consulting.
  • Demonstrated experience in water supply and/or wastewater asset management.
  • Strong understanding of ISO 55000/55001 and asset management system thinking.
  • Understanding of New Zealand water sector drivers, reform and information disclosure requirements.
  • Proven ability to work with clients, senior stakeholders and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Current clean driver’s licence.
