Your Role
As a Technical Presales Consultant (m/f/d), you will support our partners and internal sales teams with technical expertise around IBM Data & AI and Automation solutions
This role is well suited for both experienced presales consultants and motivated technical professionals who want to take the next step into a customer‑facing presales role. You will work closely with senior colleagues and continuously build your expertise across IBM’s strategic software portfolio.
Your Responsibilities
Support partners and sales teams in technical presales engagements
Contribute to solution designs for data platforms, AI use cases, and automation scenarios
Assist in technical presentations, product demos, workshops, and proof‑of‑concepts
Collaborate on proposals and RFP responses from a technical perspective
Participate in partner enablement and training sessions
Gradually build deep expertise in IBM technologies through hands‑on experience and certifications
Your Profile
Technical background in Data, AI, Automation, Integration, or similar domains
First experience in technical consulting, engineering, or presales is an advantage
Interest in customer‑facing roles and solution design
Experience with IBM Software is welcome but not required
Exposure to Hybrid Cloud, containers or OpenShift is a plus
Strong communication skills and willingness to learn
Fluent in German and English
