Our client is a leading distributor of technology, services, and lifestyle products in Sub-Saharan Africa. They currently have an opening for a technical presales executive to be based in Abuja, Nigeria.
Job Description:


Working with clients to determine how their business can use Microsoft cloud services most effectively.

Analysis and optimization of existing IT environments of customers.

Customer support of technical projects in on-premises, hybrid, and Cloud systems.

Remain current on emerging and innovative technologies for end-user computing.

Contribute to and update bid, project, departmental and technical documents.

Maintain an awareness of developments and best practices, adapt and apply new and appropriate ideas.

Work closely with the sales team to identify professional services opportunities and qualify customer requirements early in the       sales cycle.

Work closely with the account and service management teams to identify professional services opportunities within existing       accounts.

Engage directly with customers, often on speculative/pre-RFP requirements, to understand their business challenges and       translate these into technology requirements.

Advise customers on technology choices and options.

Developing customer proposals, statement of work, supporting cost models, and defining proof of concept engagements where       appropriate.

Providing support to sales and Bid team colleagues for the completion of Bid responses including, Requests for Information,       Requests for Proposal, and Pre-qualification Questionnaires.

Contribute to presales engagements to ensure opportunities are handled appropriately and with clarity in relation to the proposed       solution, implementation approach, and customer engagement.

Use problem-solving creativity to design, architect, and develop high-end technology solutions that solve our client's; most       complex and challenging problems across different industries on Microsoft azure.

Develop deployment of automation using automation tools and scripts to provide a fully functional cloud stack in Azure that       supports the Client's environment.

Build, migrate and test Azure environments and integrations of services with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.

Develop the ability to architect and integrate on-premises applications, cloud providers, or other platforms with Azure.

Take an active role in operational and business-development aspects of the business.

Apply architectural experience to make trade-offs at different layers of the architecture by keeping end customer scenarios       business goals, cost and complexity in mind.

Builds PoCs and demos with Account Managers.

Fundamental knowledge of common Operating Systems (Windows, Linux);

Foundation experience or reasonable understanding of some aspect(s) of the network stack and network protocols;

Understanding of some aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography,       etc

Crafting architecture with Microsoft Azure that meets customers’ technical, security, and business needs for apps/workloads.
Qualifications and Experience

• Minimum of 3 years post-graduate experience in similar position
• B.Sc/HND in Engineering, Computer Science or any social science related courses.
