Job Description

(Brief overview on scope of job responsibility)

  • Familiar with HL/EE quality control system in order to be the professional interface between the customer and BVCPS IAC
  • Being professional to handle any technical enquiries received from client, demonstrate expertise to work with client for protocol review and update.
  • Have technical thinking when communication with client, better understand client need, client language and expectation. Closely work with BV GC regional Technical team and BV CPS Global technical team for new solution development that fit client’s business need. And drive program growth and SPP growth for China
  • Understand client brand’s culture and have continuous technical advice for program enhancement, technical driven to strengthen the client relationship with BV and technical upgrade for client and BV team
  • Maintain and ensure that the documentations are always most current, especially the inspection field instruction. Support operation office and reply any technical related queries that raised up from Inspection FieldInstruction, regular refresh training and necessary case sharing and program enhancement based on needed
  • Closely work with BV CPS global operation team to execute/implement client’s new inspection requirement.
  • Support vendor training/seminar if any
  • Support technical proposal for supply chain solution ( Inspection, Factory audit)

    Interrelationships (Other key functional or communication lines)

    • Work with Operation/Regional technical support team for technical requirement and internal operational process/document update
    Work with IAC operating offices, sales offices, regional & operation line managers, Program manager, regional/operation technical support team
  • Daily Operational Routine:

    • Handle daily technical inquiry or issues from client on a timely manner.
    • Effectively communicate with client for clear understanding and alignment related to technical or operational requirements.
    • Harmonize the technical requirements to related documentations, run by internal technical change management process for change voting and posting, and then run implementation of new or changes within BV global inspection network.
    • Co-work with BV Operation/Regional technical team, GTS for risk technical assessment,
    • Co-work with BV Operation/Regional technical team, GTS to train the trainer from global operation office on any new or changes related to technical requirement from client.
    • Work with client to review and verify inspection protocol if needed

    Program Management

    • Work with Regional Management to ensure inspection process is correctly executed based on the approved process and protocols in global IAC network.
    • Take lead to handle the technical complaints or outstanding cases by following the global process IMP/CAR;
    • Request regional operations to initiate prompt corrective actions and improvement actions in the relevant due time. Monitor the implementations.
    • Timely escalate operational and outstanding issues to N+1, N+2 and BV top management if necessary, which have potential negative impact on business or customer satisfaction.
    • Attend meetings with client and to support any technical enquiries from protocols.
    • Attend meeting with internal program account team and operation team to review inspection performance. Ensure that the KPI are met and deliverables to meet client’s expectation.
    • Vendor/Factory performance review to identify any solution to help vendor/factory to have continuous quality improvement or quality system enhancement, and drive program business growth

    Technical Calibration and Training

    • Continuously monitor and set up the periodic shadow audit by engaging BV inspection office and technical team, so as to verify whether IAC operations have executed the program process with qualified performance.
    • Prepare vendor seminar PPT and presentation

    Reporting to N+1 or N+2:

      • To review and report new program status or key accounts’ review to N+1 or N+2 at regular frequency.
      • To provide constructive & effective proposals for team management, program handling, business support, complaint or crisis handling;
    • To report meeting recap & follow-up actions;
    To escalate operational issues that are negatively impacting customer service or satisfaction and to work out constructive proposal for problem solving with other related departments.

  • Required Skills & Qualifications (What skills are required for this position)

    Qualifications:

    • Demonstrated ability to work with customers, determines their requirements, define and assist in solving problems, and generally ensure their total satisfaction with BV CPS.
    • Ability to work well under pressure to handle crisis situations and balance several tasks simultaneously
    • Must possess strong work ethic and excellent client service skills to ensure effective, responsive client interaction (internal and external)
    • Be confident, highly efficient, and self-motivated
    • Knowledgeable in hardline, and EE manufacturing process, quality control system for inspection or/and factory audit experience or/ and any collection interest preferred
    • Knowledgeable in BV CPS IAC operations, procedures and capabilities or any testing/inspectionfactory audit industry experience preferred
    • Be able to work independently, as well as in a departments environment
    • Superior ability of dealing with analysis and of providing solutions in a time sensitive environment
    • Possessing strong interpersonal communication skill, team-building skill
    • An energetic, motivated self-starter who are able to lead and help staff

    Required Skill:

    • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills;
    • Language requirements, fluent in both written and spoken English and Mandarin; Cantonese preferred
    • University graduated with 5 years or above with at least 3 years working experiences as hardline , EE QA in some famous brands, retailers, or engineer of lab and with strong product knowledge or industrial knowledge.
    Be good at Microsoft Office Software (word, excel, power point and visio) and/or AI
