Caterpillar is seeking a Technical Planning Manager in Sanford, NC. In this role, you will be at the heart of ensuring efficient logistics and timely delivery of parts, which is crucial for the smooth operation of the facility. Plus, you will play a key role in the growth and building improvement planning for the Sanford campus.

Planning and Organizing: Knowledge of the process of planning and arranging tasks and resources; ability to plan and organize both time and resources to get things completed while structuring and maintaining work in a systematic and highly methodical way.
Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.
Problem Solving: Knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational or process problems; ability to apply knowledge of problem solving appropriately to diverse situations.
Top candidates will also bring:
A bachelor’s degree in engineering or above in Supply chain, Logistics, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering
A working knowledge in designing NPI projects along with other daily Continuous Improvement tasks.
A working knowledge in designing NPI projects along with other daily continuous improvement tasks.
Experience using CreoSolidworksand Autocad (for part presentation layout).
Experience in data purification & analysis
Experience creating and/or updating of Value Stream Maps and Standard Work Sheets Instruction(SWS)
Workforce & equipment planning
Inventory transfer & rearrangement planning.
Resource & project management.
Supervisory experience

Pay Range:
$89,210.00 - $133,810.00
