Join us as Maintenance Planner in Bristol!

Reporting directly to the Reliability Manager, the Maintenance Planner plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective planning, coordination, and execution of maintenance activities across the site. This position is responsible for leading maintenance planning and scheduling meetings, driving compliance and safety standards, and ensuring the accuracy of maintenance records within the CMMS system. Working closely with maintenance teams, contractors, and key stakeholders, the Maintenance Planner will help deliver safe, efficient, and well-coordinated maintenance operations while supporting continuous improvement and asset reliability objectives.

What you'll do

  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure maximum equipment reliability.
  • Lead maintenance planning and review meetings, keeping all stakeholders informed of progress and any changes.
  • Work closely with Stores to ensure spare parts and materials are available for planned maintenance.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and communicate any deviations to Engineering, Planning, and Production teams.
  • Review and approve maintenance work packages alongside Senior Engineers.
  • Ensure risk assessments, permits, and safety requirements are in place before work begins.
  • Support contractors and maintenance teams to ensure all work is completed safely and compliantly.
  • Maintain accurate asset and maintenance records within the CMMS system.
  • Champion a strong safety culture and support the site's goal of achieving Zero Harm.

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in a Maintenance Planner, or similar role within an FMCG manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and engineering principles.
  • Experience using CMMS systems to manage maintenance activities and asset records.
  • Proven track record working within a maintenance department in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Experience participating in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) investigations and problem-solving activities.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies and practices.
